Touch of Luxury is a small jewellery boutique of a jewellery designer and solopreneur – Laima, who is based in the United Kingdom. Before she approached me she had already had an e-shop but the existing website lacked functionality and started to have a negative impact on customer experience and company growth. So she decided that its time to change the look and start to effectively provide customers with the ability to easily purchase her unique hand-made jewellery online, as well as add a few additional features to improve the user experience.
It was requested the new site to enable customers to purchase jewellery units online and pay for purchases using Pay Pal or credit cards. A customer should also be able to have his account zone and contact company via the site. Additionally, the website must feature original design elements and look stylish, prestigious, elegant, easy to update for non-technical people and search engine friendly.
Targeting the niche of hand-made jewellery, a customized website with an e-commerce system was developed. The e-store includes PayPal integrated shopping cart (with credit card processing), a customer portal that gives customers the ability to create a wishlist, track shipping and view order history, media galleries and contacts forms.

In addition, the website is responsive (design and development respond to the user’s behaviour and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. Generally, it means the website look beautiful on all devices (desktops, tablets, phones).

Double-sided business cards and certificate were designed as well. Printing work was also taken care of (printed at Moo). Business cards were printed on a 400gsm paper with a soft touch finish. Business cardholder’s name (side A) and logo (side B) were decorated with a raised spot gloss special finish to create that notable look.
